Your order's status and the gift card(s) on your order can have a couple of different statuses listed, and they may not always match!
Order Statuses:
"Pending Email Verification": Click on the 'Verify my email' button in the email you received after placing the order. PerfectGift.com needs to verify for the safety and authenticity of the transaction that you have access to the email address you used to place the order.
"Pending Review": PerfectGift.com's system is reviewing your order and card details for safety and authenticity, including verifying any custom card art.
"Pending": Your order is being prepared to print and/or email your gift cards. This is the final step before the order is fully processed. All orders require a manual review which may delay delivery for up to 4 hours.
"Processing": Your order is undergoing payment processing, and your gift cards are being created. The gift cards on your order may have different statuses based on their creation and printing stages.
"Completed": Your order has been printed/emailed to your recipients. Physical gift cards are mailed on the same day if processed before 4 PM ET or the following business day. eGift cards are emailed immediately after processing.
"Cancelled": Your order couldn't be processed and was cancelled. Any payment authorization for this order will be cancelled and disappear from your credit card statement within 5 business days.
"Refunded": Your order has been completely refunded. The refunded amount will be displayed next to or below your order total.
Card Statuses:
"Pending Artwork Review": Your custom card art is under review to ensure it meets our image guidelines.
"Pending": The system is checking your order and card details for safety and authenticity, including any custom card art. All orders require a manual review which may delay delivery for up to 4 hours.
"Processing": Your gift card is being created!
"Processed": Your gift card has been created and is ready to be sent via email or physically mailed.
"Received and Opened": For virtual cards, this status confirms that the recipient has opened and successfully accessed their gift card.
"Sent": For physical cards, this status indicates that the shipment has been created and handed over to the shipping partner (USPS, FedEx, etc.). The card is either on its way to the recipient or will be when the shipping partner processes it the following business day.
"Cancelled": The gift card couldn't be processed and was cancelled. Any part of the authorization for the gift card value, processing fees, customization fees, and shipping fees were released from the total order value.
