I am unable to check my balance
You can check the balance of a Visa or Mastercard issued by PerfectGift anytime, thanks to our online check balance tool.

Check the card to make sure it was issued by PerfectGift.com. We can only check balances for cards purchased through our site.
- If your gift card is from another issuer, such as Vanilla Visa, you will need to go to that issuer’s site to check your balance.
- If you have a gift card from a merchant or specific brand, such as Target or Sephora, contact that merchant directly to check your balance, or follow the directions on that card.

Checking your balance (if you have the 16-digit card number and 3-digit CVV)
- Visit the Check Balance page at www.perfectgift.com/check-balance.
- Enter your 16-digit card number.
- Enter your 3-digit security code (CVV).
- Click the purple Check Balance button.
From email - checking your balance (for a virtual or digital Visa gift card)
If you don’t have your 16-digit code and 3-digit CVV available, go back to the email you received from PerfectGift.com with your Digital Visa eGift.
From the email:
- Click the button.
- Once you are on PerfectGift, enter the 4-digit code from the email.
- After signing in, you will see your card balance.

Displayed balance
- The balance shown reflects what’s currently available for spending.
- This may not include pending charges, unsettled refunds, or pre-authorization holds.

Refunds
- If you’re expecting a refund, allow up to 10 business days for it to appear in your balance.
- There may be a delay between seeing the refund applied in your transaction history and actually having the refunded amount available for use on the card. It will take a few business days for the balance to be made available.

Pending transactions
- Pre-authorization holds and pending transactions usually settle within 5 business days, depending on the merchant.
