Troubleshooting tips if you are unable to check the balance

Card issuer
- Check the card to make sure it was issued by PerfectGift.com. We can only check balances for cards purchased through our site.
- If your gift card is from another issuer, such as Vanilla Visa, you will need to go to that issuer’s site to check your balance.
- If you have a gift card from a merchant or specific brand, such as Target or Sephora, contact that merchant directly to check your balance, or follow the directions on that card.

Activation
- Physical or plastic cards must be activated before use.
- To activate your card, visit our Activate page at https://www.perfectgift.com/activate.
- Virtual or digital cards need to be claimed via email but do not require activation.

Correct information
- Doublecheck that you correctly entered the UID online or the correct 16-digit card number and 3-digit CVV on the phone.
