Can I withdraw cash, transfer money or deposit funds from my gift card?

Prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards are for shopping and purchases, not cash access. 

Merchant-specific gift cards, such as Target or Sephora, can only be used for purchases at that merchant’s physical stores, website, or app. They cannot be used to withdraw cash or get cash back. Contact the merchant for any additional information.

Gift Card Restrictions

• No ATM withdrawals 
  Gift cards cannot be used to take out cash at an ATM.  
• No cash back at checkout 
  When shopping in a store, you will not be able to request cash back with a gift card.   
• No bank transfers or deposits 
  Gift card balances cannot be transferred or deposited into a bank account or used with money transfer sites, such as PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp.
• Can’t buy other gift cards 

A prepaid Visa or Mastercard cannot be used to purchase another gift card.

Gift Card Usage

• Everyday purchases 
  Visa and Mastercard gift cards are designed to be used online and in-store anywhere prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift cards are accepted.
• Apple and Google wallets

Prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards that were issued by Perfectgift.com after March 2025 can be added to your Google or Apple wallet for point-of-sale purchases.
