Can I add my gift card to my mobile Apple or Google Wallet?

Before you get started

Have a Visa gift card?
You can skip ahead to the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet steps below.
Have a Mastercard gift card?
You’ll need to verify it first. Just follow the steps below.

Mastercard gift cards issued on or after March 3, 2025 can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

To register a physical Mastercard:

Go to the Activation page on Perfectgift.com and enter the 16-digit card number and 3-digit CVV code. You can do this even if your card has already been activated.
Click on the Add to Wallet button
Enter a valid phone number or email address that you have access to
Proceed to add your card details to Apple Pay or Google Pay. After adding your card information, you will be presented an option to verify your card by text message or email. Retrieve that code and enter in the wallet.
Digital Mastercard gifts can be registered with the same instructions as above, however you are not required to go to the Activation page in step one. You can use the website link provided with your gift to view your digital Mastercard and click on the Add to Wallet button from that page.
